KHC has spent an enormous amount of time developing the Torque Arm concept.The idea was inspired by late model camaro/firebird torque arm set ups.Axle wrap is a well-known issue we deal with in the raptor/f150 when we step up the horsepower or run larger tires. Even with aftermarket springs it still needs to be addressed while not affecting suspension travel at the same time.Most traction bar set ups do not address axle twist properly or bind suspension travel.KHC has taken a completely different approach to addressing axle wrap designing a single arm set up that has a slide joint at the frame mount (No Binding Suspension) single bushing mount at the top of the axle housing and a adjustable bumper located near the pinion on axle housing. These 2 specific locations resist the natural twist of the axle housing when power is applied with the bumper hitting the strike area when the housing twists. This set up also allows for long travel set ups due to it releasing during axle droop. Clamp on axle mount and frame mount are made from ¼ steel while the arm is 3/16 steel box design with a greaseable Delrin bushing slide joint at the frame side. ¼ steel skid plate is also available as an additional option. When installed you will feel the stability the system adds on and offroad to your truck and no worrying about losing ground clearance with parts hanging below the axle.
