Mid Travel Suspension Kit
KHC Mid Travel kit has been cad designed with full function and drivability on and offroadin mind. We are the only company offering 1.5 wider and 2.5 wider than stock options along with many add on options.
Our knuckles/uprights are designed to change the steering ratio giving the steering rack more leverage/power to turn the tires along with slowing down steering response.This results in a very stable driving feel on the street along with less strain on the factory steering rack.Factory caster settings are used for alignment giving you that light easy steering feel that we all love and steady responsive steering input/output. We also have designed specific bearing blocks for both 4wd hubs styles so our kits can be used on all generations of raptors/f150s.
Our kits use standing uniball design to minimize joint corrosion/failure time.The steering components are made from 7075 aluminum along with KHC inner tie rods ends while steel components are made from A30 steel cut, bent and welded all in house.We have designed a bumpstop strike area into the lower control arm allowing the addition of a 2in front bump stop enhancing offroad performance even further.Our lower control arms use a greaseable hardened urethane bushing rather than uniballs to quiet down the front end noise while our upper control arms use FK hiems allowing for alignment from the upper control arms.
KHC has partnered with RCV to produce axle shafts for both width kits so our customers can choose which width they would like to run. 1.5 width kit will yield slightly less travel than 2.5 width kit while still maintaining all performance characteristics of the 2.5 kit. All kits use aftermarket Raptor replacement struts so no need for custom coilovers and we have a long list of add-on parts that are available to enhance performance even further.KHC has designed an add-on sway bar that enhances stability even further if you are carrying a lot of weight or just want additional stability beyond bypass shocks.
