Description

Headlights: Evolutionary: A simple design refresh would have been easy, but that's not what this is all about. The all-new XB Evo Hybrid headlights are a showcase of everything Morimoto is made of at a price that everybody can afford. Packed with features that demonstrate a true attention to detail including the latest in technology, compliance, quality, and styling, these headlights are designed for enthusiasts who are serious about all the above, even if it comes at a premium. Maximum Performance: Thanks to an all-new generation of Morimoto Bi-LED projectors, the XB Evo Hybrid headlights will meet and exceed the highest standards for headlight performance that are set by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety... which is a tough mark even for most modern luxury automakers. Here, the 4Runner XB Evo Hybrid headlight utilizes the same Bi-LED projectors found in the higher end XB Evo model to deliver unmatched light output, with an incredibly bright and wide low beam, and a high beam that destroys darkness. All optics are powered by the latest OE-grade automotive LEDs from Nichia in Japan. On Road: The Morimoto XB Evo Hybrid Headlights are DOT compliant with all FVMSS108 regulations for on-road use in the USA. Their projector optics are so capable and efficient that their LEDs are only driven at about 50% of their full potential intensity to avoid exceeding limitations set by compliance. The vertical aim is fully adjustable within +/- 6 degrees for a perfect alignment on any 4Runner, even with a lift. The system was designed in California by Morimoto's lead optical engineer, Yoshi Ishida, to deliver maximum visibility, comfort, and safety, and that it does. Off Road: Yes, you read that correctly. Out of the box, XB Evo and Evo Hybrid are only producing a fraction of their potential intensity for compliance reasons. Want more light for your off-road adventures? The optional Supercharged LED drivers boost both low and high beam intensity by 30-50%, all without sacrificing reliability or warranty. It also adds the welcome-sequence to the DRL and projectors that doesn't normally appear on the Hybrid version of the headlight. While the Supercharged drivers easily enable the XB Evo to outshine every other headlight for the 4Runner on the market, we must reiterate that they will result in non-compliant levels of peak beam intensity, and therefore should not be used on public roads. DRL Optics: The turn signals and daytime running lights illuminate glass-like TIR-optics with special surface textures, which enables maximum intensity from all viewing angles. Easily out-shining low-tech DRL optics found in most every other aftermarket headlight, they also provide a one-off look with the bespoke topographic pattern etched into the sidewall. DRL and Turn Signals: The daytime running light illuminates in a crisp clear white color that perfectly matches the LED projectors. Thanks to their impressive optics, the amber turn signals are also incredibly bright and operate in a solid flashing pattern with an elegant fade-off effect. Sequential turn signals and Amber DRL settings are not available for the Hybrid version of the XB Evo headlights. OE Fit and Installation: The XB Evo Hybrid headlights are expertly crafted to match all OE specifications to ensure perfect fitment and hassle-free install. They will bolt onto the original mounting points and line up to the surrounding sheet-metal without any massaging, and then plug into the factory wire harness and then work without errors on the dash, nor flickering, flashing, or radio interference. Thoughtfully engineered for a modification-free install. No factory warranties void. No headaches. Well-Built: These headlights are completely designed, engineered and tested in the USA by the Morimoto team to meet the high expectations of our customers. Nichia LEDs from Japan are used throughout. All wiring and connections are OE-grade. When it comes to UV protection, OE Toyota headlights are industry-best, which is why we've formulated a new hard coating that exceeds their 3,000-hour standard for resistance against cracking, fading, and yellowing lenses from UV exposure. The list goes on but as the saying goes: you get what you pay for. XB Evo Hybrid headlights aren't cheap, but they are built to an OEM+ standard and should easily last the life of your 4Runner! We're proud to stand behind the product with an industry-leading five-year warranty. Tail Lights: Toyota 4Runner LED Tail Lights: The 5th Gen 4Runner is one of the best trucks Toyota has ever built, beloved by many, and if you have already upped the ante with beadlocks and bigger tires, a low-profile roof rack, and all the amber LED pods money can buy, then it's probably time to ditch the stock tail lights too. The Morimoto XB LED tail lights are the category killer that every 4Runner owner has been waiting for! Style: With three rows of 3D light blades that complement the edgy geometry on the 5th gen 4Runner, these look right at home on the truck. Their TIR-based optics serve as the brake light and turn signal, and they're extremely bright--easily visible both day and night. Pair that with the amber reverse-sequential turn signal, optional smoked or red outer lens, and we've easily got what is the best-looking set tail lights on the road for the T4R! Reverse Lights: Are often overlooked, but not with the Morimoto XB tail lights for the 4Runner. While they come standard with powerful LED reverse lights, just wait, there's more! Morimoto's Backup-Boost system allows you to plug n play with the optional LED Reverse Light Bar, which mounts to the top of your license plate frame and provides an extra 2,700 lumens of controlled light output when in backing up. Yeah, Morimoto customers like to see where they're going--no matter the direction! Style and Safety: All Morimoto tail lights are designed to comply with all DOT, SAE regulations for rear-facing lamps. We pride ourselves on offering stylish, high-performance and safe products for serious enthusiasts, which is why all new Morimoto products are verified by trusted third party labs for compliance and are backed with an industry-leading five year warranty.
